Episode 8 - Jim’s Journey from Principal to Podcaster

In today’s episode I’m going to share a bit of the journey that led me from being Principal of several schools in tough-gang neighborhoods, to a best-selling author, and then into the world of high-level book coaching, and most recently, to the host of this podcast, The Jim House Show.

The Show is a beautiful collision of significant books, interesting authors, and great conversations. And I get to be right in the middle of it all – with you!

I’ve always been wildly curious about how an author brought their book to life.

Where did the book idea come from? What was their process for planning the book and what did their writing process look like?

And it’s SO much fun to to sit down and ask them personally— to discover how the original seed of an idea became a book worth reading.

We get a rare glimpse into their creative process and we hear it straight from the source

But the conversation doesn’t end there, because the life of a book is just beginning when the author types The End.

And I love hearing the authors talk about the impact that writing the book had on them—and on their readers,

Every author I’ve interviewed has shared amazing things about how writing the book changed them.

And how about you?

Have you ever wanted to write your own good book?

If so, I'm sure you'll find these conversations, both revealing and invaluable

Thanks for listening!

Much love,

Jim
